The Grace adjustable divan base comes with a 5 break action base which allows greater flexibility for the bed to be adjusted to suit individual needs. The base is available in a choice of 3 colours – natural, beige and brown to suit your furnishing needs. The bed base has sprung slats to add to the mattress lifespan, but as can be seen in the picture below these slats can be adjusted to give different levels of tension. It is possible for example to make the centre of the bed firmer if you feel that you need extra support into your lower back.

There are 3 foam mattress choices with the Grace adjustable bed: Reflex Foam Mattress is made out of a 20cm deep layer of resilient reflex foam. This will give the mattress a medium firm feel which will be very supportive. The mattress cover is removable for cleaning. Medium firm feel. Memory 250 Mattress is constructed by putting a 2.5cm layer of pure memory foam on top of 17.5cm of Reflex foam. This means that the mattress is not only supportive but it also has the pressure relieving qualities of memory foam which has been shown to help reduce aches and pains. The mattress cover is removable for cleaning. Medium feel. Memory 500 Mattress has a deep layer of 5cm of memory foam on a core of 15cm of Reflex foam. It has been shown in tests that 5cm of memory foam is the optimum amount in a mattress. It not only helps to relieve aches and pains but because it reduces pressure points it can reduce tossing and turning by up to 80%, giving a more restful night’s sleep. The mattress cover is removable for cleaning. Medium feel.
